Practicing international level curriculums

PePe Trimming School uses western grooming school system to minimize the time and cost to the student. The system differs from Japanese grooming school system in that standardized lessons do not occupy a term. The curriculum corresponds to the student�s technique progress enabling them to steadily advance for a short term, like class C license in a year, B in two years and A in three years.

Half of the classes is hands-on training

The student�s time is divided between lectures and practical hands-on training fifty-fifty to acquire knowledge and techniques that become effective and useful immediately. They cannot learn practical skills by just studying. That is why they do intern at General Hospital Pet Center Nagoshi, a famous affiliated animal hospital in Japan and Pet People, a neighboring affiliated pet shop.

Learning what an AHT knows

The reason the students learn what an AHT knows is that their target of study is life.
An able groomer is also an able AHT who understands animal health and detects and prevents their diseases. The school�s training helps pets relax when being examined so that you can gain their confidence and groom them easier or give them better treatment.

Becoming a confident professional

In addition to specialized subjects, the school offers overseas training and invites leading specialists from various fields for special seminars to make students have manners and cultivate themselves as active professionals in society. Character that is valuing life and self-consciousness as a professional can not be learned only in ordinary school days. The overseas training and special seminars help to build the student�s character and self-consciousness and to bring a good job to each student. We now have staff in San Francisco making preparations for the overseas classes.
